Role

We are looking for a Senior Solutions Platform Architect to join our Product Management team. This is a remote role, reporting to the Manager, Hands-On Solutions 

As a Senior Solutions Platform Architect at Zscaler, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing our demo and lab environments. You will collaborate closely with various teams within Zscaler to ensure they have the tools and resources necessary to effectively demonstrate our products to potential customers and partners. Your experience with automation and infrastructure management will be essential in building and maintaining these environments.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

  • Develop and maintain environments by building, customizing, and supporting demo/lab environments that accurately reflect products and solutions
  • Automate with tools and scripts to streamline setup, configuration, and testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand needs and provide technical solutions and support
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and overall efficiency of environments while staying current on relevant technologies
  • Document installation and troubleshooting processes and occasionally support partners and customers with technical queries

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines such as Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab, or Terraform
  • Excellent communication skills, especially when explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving requirements

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies like Docker or VMWare and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience managing lab platforms like Skytap, Skillable, or CloudShare and performing integrations via APIs
  • Background with networking and cybersecurity products and a strong desire to continue learning in the space
