Role
We are looking for a Senior Analyst - Analytics and Insights to join our FP&A department. This is a hybrid role based in our Mohali Office, reporting to the Manager - Analytics and Insights, FP&A.
As a Senior Analyst, you will sit at the intersection of analytics delivery and analytics engineering—supporting and improving existing BI/data assets while also developing new, scalable datasets and metrics. You will use strong SQL and Python to deliver reliable insights, improve data quality, and help evolve our semantic layer to enable consistent self-serve reporting.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Provide day-to-day analytics support for existing dashboards, data models, and reporting—triaging issues, and ensuring stakeholder trust in outputs
- Build and enhance curated datasets (tables/views/marts) using strong SQL and Python to enable repeatable analysis and scalable reporting
- Contribute to the semantic layer—maintain metric definitions, improve governance/documentation, and ensure consistent KPI logic across BI assets
- Partner with FP&A/business stakeholders to translate questions into analytical requirements, deliver insights, and recommend actions based on data
- Improve data infrastructure reliability—support pipeline monitoring, data quality checks, and performance tuning to reduce recurring reporting/manual effort

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 3–5 years of experience in Analytics, BI, Analytics Engineering, or Finance/Data Analytics roles
- Strong SQL skills (joins, window functions, CTEs, performance-minded query writing) and experience working with data warehouses
- Proficiency in Python for analytics/automation (data wrangling, scripting, APIs, building repeatable workflows)
- Understanding of data infrastructure concepts (ELT/ETL, orchestration basics, data quality/testing, dimensional modeling fundamentals)
- Familiarity with semantic layer concepts and metric governance (consistent definitions, reusable measures, documentation)
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Hands-on experience with a semantic layer tool/framework (e.g., dbt Semantic Layer/MetricFlow, LookML, Cube, AtScale) and metric governance practices
- Experience maintaining or developing BI assets (Tableau/Power BI/Looker) including performance optimization and stakeholder enablement
- Experience with modern analytics engineering practices (dbt, Git, CI basics, testing, modular modeling)
