Role

We are looking for a SecOps Technical Success Manager to join our team. This is a Hybrid role in Bangalore, reporting to the Manager of Technical Success in the Technical Success, SecOps department. As a SecOps Technical Success Manager, you will be the customer's trusted technical advisor and central post-sales point of contact for Zscaler's Agentic Security Operations portfolio. Your mission is driving platform adoption, ensuring customers achieve their security outcomes, and maximizing the operational impact of the platform.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

  • Serve as the primary post-sales technical point of contact for assigned accounts, owning the customer's technical success and achievement of defined business value objectives across the SecOps portfolio

  • Build trusted advisory relationships with security leaders (CISOs, SOC Directors, VP Security Operations) by deeply understanding their threat landscape, operational maturity, and strategic security objectives

  • Develop and execute customized technical success plans that guide customers from onboarding through ongoing operationalization, driving adoption and platform integration while proactively engaging to ensure maximum value realization

  • Partner cross-functionally across Sales, Support, and Product teams to streamline customer experiences, mitigate risk, resolve critical escalations, and advocate for customer needs that influence product direction

  • Proactively analyze customer security environments, platform telemetry, and adoption metrics to surface risks, identify operational gaps, and deliver actionable recommendations that accelerate time-to-value

Who You Are (Success Profile)

  • You are a cybersecurity practitioner at heart. You have lived in the SOC, managed vulnerability programs, or led security operations, and you bring that hands-on credibility to every customer conversation.

  • You are customer-obsessed. You build deep empathy for enterprise security leaders and anchor technical insights around solving their real-world risk challenges.

  • You are a proactive problem-solver. You analyze complex technical environments, anticipate operational risks, and act decisively without waiting for escalations so customers continuously extract maximum value from the platform.

  • You are a high-trust collaborator. You partner seamlessly across Sales, Support, and Product teams to deliver unified customer experiences and earn lasting stakeholder trust.

  • You champion clarity. You distill complex security operations concepts, including AI-driven detection, autonomous triage, attack surface management, and MDR workflows, into executive-ready insights and actionable guidance.

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and augment problem-solving

  • 6+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical consultancy or success role within cybersecurity managing books with at least $200K ARR

  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior security stakeholders (CISO, SOC leadership) and translate complex technical concepts into strategic business value narratives

  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to align customer business challenges to the Zscaler portfolio to meet desired business and security outcomes

  • Strong working knowledge of security operations technologies and concepts including SIEM/SOAR, EDR/XDR, MDR, threat intelligence, incident response frameworks, and vulnerability management

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience with AI/ML-driven security tools, autonomous detection and response platforms, or agentic AI applied to security operations

  • Prior experience building or operationalizing vulnerability management programs, risk scoring frameworks, or continuous threat exposure management (CTEM) initiatives

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, GSOM, OSCP, CEH, or equivalent
