As a Frontend UI Developer in our Foundations team, you have a pivotal role in shaping the core UI library and shared services that power our entire platform. This is not just another frontend role—your work will directly impact every product in our ecosystem, ensuring consistency, scalability, and efficiency across our growing global R&D organization.

Let developers focus on product development and integrate their work into a stable and secure environment by providing solid standards and shared services.
A Day in the Life of
- Review developer PRs in the core packages and manage releases.
- Support front-end developers using the core packages - implementation details, bugs, and missing functionality.
- Add functionality, components, and new packages to our core packages according to PMs & UI/UX team requirements.
- Advise developers, PMs, and designers on UI/UX questions and issues, whether related to the core packages or UI/UX in general.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Foundations team and most developers across the organization and designers.
- Create and maintain code for our UI library, which all products across the platform use.
- Support front-end developers using and contributing to the core packages - implementation details, CR, docs, bugs, and missing functionality.
- Responsible for new features e2e - from the feature tech spec to the production deployment.
- Define with the team, spread, and enforce development standards.
Requirements
- Frontend Javascript developer with a proven track record working on components-based, complex products in a product-driven company setting.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with React.
- Works well with CSS
- Familiar with Typescript
- Familiar with Figma as a developer
- Ability to write clean, organized, and maintainable code, and manage very high-risk deployments, affecting all major company operations
- Familiar with Cloud Services and microservices architectures (GCP is a plus)
- Familiarity with Storybook is a plus
- Familiarity with Material UI (MUI) is a plus
