We are looking for a Financial Controller to manage Small Giant’s accounting operations. The focus of the role is on managing accounts receivables and payables, monthly and annual closings and regulatory compliance matters, and helping to execute the organisation's financial strategy and report the company’s performance. The Financial Controller also supports our leadership in budgeting and financial planning.
The Financial Controller will join our small and highly efficient admin team and report to the Finance Director. Daily work consists of close collaboration with the aforementioned, with Small Giant’s accounting service provider, and with our parent company Take-Two’s finance teams, as well as hands-on individual tasks. The role comprises approximately equal amounts of team and individual work.
The ideal candidate has a suitable educational background and working experience, is analytical and precise, handles the necessary tools and is eager to roll up their sleeves, and has a genuine interest in finance and games. The role will offer opportunities and challenges for professional development.
What You Bring:
- Educational background from finance, accounting and/or business administration
- 5+ years of working experience in the aforementioned fields
- Experience with and capability to operate modern ERP systems
- Solid analytical and MS Excel skills
- Willingness to work as a process owner
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn more and improve existing processes and tools
- Capability to work in a team and solo, ability to meet strict deadlines
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Passion for games - you will find a lot of friends around to share your passion with
Bonus points for these merits:
- Experience in group accounting and international accounting standards
- Experience in Finnish or international tax
- Experience in statutory compliance and corporate governance
- Familiarity with Netsuite
