Position Overview:

Zynga's North American Talent Acquisition is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sourcing Lead to help spearhead the development of our new sourcing and research function. You will be the architect of our talent pipeline, directly impacting the future of Zynga's game development. This role requires a hands-on approach to sourcing while building and leading a small (one report to start) team to identify and engage exceptional talent. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of research strategies, a passion for the gaming industry, and a proven track record in talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and Implement Research Strategies: Crafting and driving innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent across various fields, including engineering, art, design, and product management.

  • Hands-On Sourcing: Actively source and engage passive candidates through various unique channels.

  • Build and Lead a Sourcing Team: Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of sourcing specialists to support the talent acquisition needs of the organization.

  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers: Partner with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.

  • Pipeline Development: Establish and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.

  • Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze sourcing metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7+ years of sourcing experience, preferably within the gaming (Console, PC and Mobile) and technology industry.

  • Experience in building and leading high-performing teams from scratch.

  • Skilled in sourcing techniques and tools, including Boolean searches, social media recruiting, integrating AI, and talent mapping.

  • Deep understanding of the gaming industry's talent landscape and trends.

  • Comfortable with pulling and using data to story tell at various levels

  • Proficient with the capacity to engage and influence partners and team members at all levels.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.

  • Nice to have: experience with Greenhouse CRM

The pay range for this position in California  at the start of employment is expected to be between $114,400 to $169,300 per year.

However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
