Position Overview:
Small Giant Games are looking for a QA Specialist! You will work closely with the developers from the planning and design phase all the way to deploying the features to production and handling live issues with our player support team. Our developers test their own code, but you will help ensure they've covered all bases. You will have an important role in the overall quality of our games portfolio, including automated testing and release management. Small, skilled, and independent teams can accomplish gigantic things. What You'll Do:
- Testing game features, modes, and other content throughout the development pipeline
- Collaborating with game developers, designers, and artists of the development team
- Participating in milestone planning and preparing releases
- Continuously advocating for quality with player-centric mindset
- Setting up key, lean QA process and participating in QA tools development
- Assisting in solving critical issues in live game
What You Bring:
- Keen interest in video games, especially mobile games and RPGs
- Good communication skills
- Smart and quick to learn
- Self-driven, proactive, and willing to take ownership
- An organized way of working; the ability to multitask and finish your tasks while keeping an eye on the bigger picture
- Some professional or hobbyist experience in testing or software development in general, for example, participating in game jams.
- A positive “can-do” attitude
