Position Overview:
Socialpoint is excited to welcome a Senior Tech Developer to our Game Development team. The Senior Tech Developer will be responsible for evolving and enhancing our internal game development tools and workflows. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our game teams, contributing to the continuous improvement of our technology stack. You’ll be joining a collaborative, tech-driven team where your work will have a direct impact on the efficiency and innovation of our game production pipeline.
What You'll do:
- Collaborate with other teams to develop and enhance internal libraries.
- Help improve our technical documentation and training resources.
- Mentor and support fellow developers, aiding in their skill development.
- Shape the complete development lifecycle of new and existing games.
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders from different teams and areas.
- Research never-seen-before problems and come up with original solutions.
- Prepare technical design documents to guide the implementation process.
- Nurture the technical culture and excellence across the company.
What You Bring:
- A minimum of 5 years' professional game development experience.
- Experience with third party integrations and platform-specific developments.
- A strong grasp of collaborative teamwork within a group of senior developers.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient and disciplined programming skills, grounded in knowledge of industry best practices and techniques.
- Robust expertise in C#, 2D/3D graphics, and computer mathematics.
- Proficiency in using Unity3D.
- Skillful performance analysis and optimization capabilities.
- Effective debugging prowess.
- Experience in mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
- Knowledge of C++ and cocos2d-x is a plus.
