Position Overview:

You will be working as part of a dedicated in-house team responsible for building amazing game animations that wow our players. Working in a highly motivated team you will have an opportunity to develop and share your skills, learn from experienced peers and collaborate with designers and artists to craft amazing in-game animations.

What You'll Do: 

As an Animator you will be working closely with the rest of the team to create high-quality in-game animations. You will be responsible for creating consistent levels of work and ensuring that each animation has the right energy and personality, as intended by the project vision.

• Collaborate with other animators, software developers, designers and producers to ensure consistent product vision
• Identify production and pipeline issues and communicate them appropriately
• Participate in reviews; respond to critical feedback in a professional manner and contribute feedback to your peers

What You Bring: 

• Experience working as a 2D animator in games (or strong comparable animation skillset)
• Good knowledge in hand-keyed timeline animation and strong understanding of core principles of animation such as ‘timing’ and ‘weight’
• Experience in preparing and working with game-ready sprite assets and their in-game engine implementation
• An excellent portfolio which demonstrates your ability to create high-quality game animations and validates that you have a good knowledge of animation creation in different styles
• Strong proficiency with Unity and Photoshop
• Ability to work in Git version control workflow and follow animation pipelines
• Self-Organised, efficient and active and initiative team member

Bonus Points:

• Proficiency in spritesheet and sprite art creation and frame-by-frame animation
• Experience in After Effects, Spine (or comparable skeletal animation software), particle systems and 3D animation
• Experience or interest in working with audio and implementing sound effects in-game
• Experience in working with external teams
• Genuine passion for games and animation and good knowledge of art and culture
