Position Overview:

The Wizard of Oz Slots team is looking for an enthusiastic problem solver to join in on modernizing our content pipeline. We have a team that has been running well for over a decade, and with your help we can transition our processes to keep the game growing for another decade.

What You'll Do:

  • Working directly with a multi-disciplinary team, learning the inner workings of how a successful game live game operates
  • This intern will directly make an impact on decisions on a project that will be seen by millions of players
  • Hands on training with team members, to learn the process of taking game assets from concept to the finish line
  • Learn proven fundamentals on a legacy game engine, which will prepare you to work in ANY environment
  • Act as a link between engineering and art teams by helping ensure our documentation is clear and concise, forever making a positive impact on the team
  • Help the team bring more advanced 2D art processes into the game, propelling us, and yourself, into the future

What You Bring:

This Technical Art internship is for those who will have graduated from a US college or university between June 2024 to May 2025. This role is connected to Zynga’s Chicago office.

  • A deep desire increase knowledge, especially how to implement art into games
  • An understanding of creative concepts, like prototyping and iterative design
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • In this role you will be presenting the expectations and needs of Artists, Engineers, Production Teams, and Designers
