Responsibilities:
The Concept Artist Intern will be creating art – from initial conceptual sketches to completely coloured,
rendered and polished in-game and marketing art – that meets the visual quality and brand of the game.
This may include any or all of the following: characters, environments, props, UI, etc.
Required Skills:
 Quick visualization and sketching ability from written descriptions or discussed ideas
 Ability to communicate visually and to identify and define visual design issues and solutions
 Good design skills, including the effective use of color, form, lighting, composition, anatomy and
aesthetics
 Ability to create fully finished and good quality artwork
 Excellent communication and collaboration skills
 A passion for games and creating art for games
 Good Photoshop skills and other concept art tools
 A strong concept art and illustration portfolio that shows character, prop design, UI and environment
designs
 Practical knowledge in a secondary skill is a plus (e.g. animation, Unity, etc.)
