What We Need
We are seeking a Systems Engineer specializing in Perforce Helix Core to support, enhance, and optimize our critical source control infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the Perforce environment through proactive management, automation, and collaboration with software development and tools engineering teams.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and highly collaborative. They should be able to balance day-to-day operational tasks with strategic projects aimed at continuous improvement, clearly communicating technical insights and solutions across multiple teams.
What You Will Do
- Maintain, monitor, and optimize Perforce Helix Core infrastructure for high availability, performance, and security.
- Administer server configurations, triggers, permissions, and integrations.
- Implement best practices for reliability, data integrity, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with development and tools engineering teams to refine synchronization strategies, repository organization, and CI/CD workflows.
- Provide expert-level training, support, and troubleshooting for development teams using Perforce.
- Develop detailed documentation on system architecture, processes, and operational procedures.
- Monitor performance and resource utilization, proactively addressing bottlenecks.
- Automate routine administrative tasks and maintain infrastructure as code repositories.
Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit
- 2+ years of systems engineering experience specifically with Perforce Helix Core.
- Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex system performance and operational issues.
- Proficient in automation and scripting to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Strong collaboration skills, effectively partnering with cross-functional teams.
- A continuous learner, actively staying informed about emerging technologies, improvements, and best practices related to Perforce.

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $98,400 and $145,620 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
