The role

As a Senior Manager Referrals Price & Discount Strategy (f/m/x), you will work as a highly experienced individual contributor on complex and high-impact initiatives shaping HelloFresh's international price and discount strategies. With a focus on thought leadership in the area of Referrals, you will drive strategic decision-making, solve multifaceted challenges, and deliver actionable insights to senior stakeholders. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple countries and disciplines, leveraging your expertise to optimize customer acquisition, retention, and profitability across our portfolio of markets and brands.

What you’ll do

• Drive Strategic Initiatives: Lead the conceptualization, execution, and optimization of complex price and discount strategies in Referrals, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and market conditions.
• Advanced Testing & Analysis: Design, execute, and analyze innovative price and discount tests, utilizing advanced modeling techniques to generate actionable insights.
• Market Leadership: Closely monitor international market trends, inflationary pressures, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
• Thought Leadership: Act as a thought leader by identifying new opportunities, proposing innovative solutions, and influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with senior leadership and global teams (e.g., Product, Marketing Analytics, Growth Marketing) to craft strategies and share recommendations that drive impactful decision-making.
• Playbook Development: Establish and refine best practices and playbooks to ensure a consistent, scalable approach to pricing and discount initiatives across all markets.

What you’ll bring

• Extensive Expertise: 4+ years of experience in consulting, data analytics, or a price/discount-related role, with a strong track record of solving complex problems.
• Advanced Analytical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Excel, and (preferably) Python, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strategic Vision: Exceptional ability to develop forward-thinking strategies and influence their adoption across a global organization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven experience working with diverse teams, including Product, Marketing, and Data Science, in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior leadership and align on key initiatives.
• Agility: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting quickly to evolving priorities in a high-growth environment.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field from a top-tier university.
