As the Customer Marketing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping 7shifts’ customer marketing strategy across all of our channels. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing, you’ll take a product-led approach to engage customers, drive retention and expansion, and turn them into loyal advocates, while increasing product adoption and revenue growth. You’ll develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies, craft compelling messaging, and collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Brand teams to create seamless, impactful customer experiences.

What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement customer retention, advocacy, and expansion strategies to create new opportunities and achieve revenue goals
- Plan and execute high-impact campaigns across email, push, in-app, and other channels to engage customers
- Test and optimize lifecycle marketing initiatives, collaborating cross-functionally to align efforts with business objectives
- Craft compelling copy and strategically segment audiences for highly targeted and effective communication
- Own and scale our customer-led growth program, leveraging satisfied customers to drive referrals and reviews
- Analyze customer behavior data to uncover new ways to enhance the customer journey and boost lifetime value
- Work cross-functionally with teams to drive opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and deepening customer engagement through product adoption
- Provide key stakeholders with actionable insights through reporting to drive strategic decisions across the company
- Define and track key performance indicators including trials, conversions, MRR growth, and referral volume to measure marketing success
What you bring:
- 4-5 years of experience in customer, growth, or lifecycle marketing within a SaaS environment
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools (we use Marketo!)
- Exceptional copywriting and creative skills with a customer-first mindset
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Brand teams
- A test-and-learn mindset— constantly experimenting with messaging, creative, and audience segmentation
- Strong project management skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
