The Golf Shop Attendant is often an early point of contact for members and guests – a role that requires poise, presence, and a natural instinct for hospitality.

Position Overview

The Golf Shop Attendant supports the daily operation of the Golf Shop and serves as a frontline ambassador of the Bounty Club experience.  This role blends hospitality, merchandising, communication, and operational support to ensure members feel known, welcomed, and cared for from the moment they enter the shop.

This is a member-facing, service-driven position ideal for the individual who brings energy, warmth, and a polished demeanor to every interaction.

This position is seasonal, as Bounty Club’s Golf Shop is open March through November.

Key Responsibilities

  • Member Service & Experience
    • Greet members and guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality
    • Anticipate member needs and personalize interactions
    • Assist with general club inquiries, tee times, & event sign-ups
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting Golf Shop environment
  • Merchandising & Retail Operations
    • Assist with receiving, tagging, folding, steaming, and displaying merchandise
    • Maintain visual merchandising standards consistent with Bounty Club’s brand
    • Support inventory counts and stock replenishment
    • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
    • Provide product knowledge and recommendations to members
  • Golf Operations Support
    • Support the Professional Staff with administrative tasks as needed
    • Communication with the Outside Services team
    • Help maintain order and flow during peak times and member events
  • Professionalism & Culture
    • Uphold Bounty Club’s standards of appearance, conduct, and member interaction
    • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment
    • Demonstrate humility, reliability, and a commitment to continuous improvement
    • Represent the club with integrity on and off property

Qualifications

  • Prior hospitality, retail, or customer-service experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a polished, professional presence
  • Ability to multitask in a member-focused environment
  • Comfort with POS systems and basic computer skills
  • A genuine desire to serve others and contribute to a high-expectation culture
  • Availability on weekends, holidays, and peak-season days

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (merchandise boxes, displays, etc.)
  • Comfortable moving around the shop and assisting with light operational tasks

Compensation & Benefits
