Why We Need you!

The Senior Director, Partner Sales EMEA West & North is looking for someone who can bring high levels of energy, activity and personality into the UKI reseller base. Working with our existing partner sales team and through our distribution teams, you will be passionate about driving business through our resellers, keen to build strong business relationships from BDR to CEO. You will have a partner first sales focus and enjoy working autonomously in a mature team, spreading the word, driving partner sourced new business while protecting and maintaining existing revenue.

This is a new role created to add passion to our reseller partner base. Finding the right personality is more important than narrow focused technology domain sales skills. This role will develop the potential within the individual offering, in a shor time frame, the ability to be a high achiever within a $1bn security focused global software leader.

 

What you will be doing:

· Working under the Lead Partner Sales Manager for the UKI you’ll “learn and grow !”

· Achieve quarterly revenue target for the West Region (UKI), working with Ivanti Resellers

· Lead from the front in developing business with our partners.

· Be active and visible to our reseller community – up to 60% of your time spent on the road.

· Manage, plan and execute Partner based activities.

· Produce annual business plan for all chosen regional partners and review on quarterly basis.

· Drive sales engagement through Regional Distribution partners and large account resellers.

· Agree sales and technical enablement plan for value added resellers and large account resellers.

· “Go-to” team member within the territory for all channel requirements.

· Internal channel ambassador

· Help partners and Sales team develop opportunities with existing and new accounts.

· Attend and participate in team calls and business reviews with Territory Managers

· Attend User Groups/Marketing Events in the field when appropriate.

 

To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have:

· 5 plus years of experience in a general sales/customer service role. While ideal, it is not an exclusive requirement to have experience of software channel sales – a strong independent, likeable character, engaging personality and a desire to succeed will take priority

· Experience of Software Mobility Management, End Point & Network Security and or the Asset or Service Management space will be helpful

· Knowledge of Distribution, Large account resellers, Value Added Resellers & SI’s

· Demonstrated success in sales focused relationship building, ability to work at multiple levels

· Record of achieving & exceeding business goals

· Proven time management skills in a dynamic sales environment

· Good Microsoft office skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

· Excellent communication skills written and spoken.

· Strong organizational skills with ability to handle various tasks without losing attention to detail

· Fluent English.

· Experience using Salesforce.com for opportunity management, activity tracking and reporting.

 

Education/ Licensing/Certification:

· Degree in Business or equivalent experience
