Facilities Compliance & Certification Specialist

Position Overview
The Facilities Compliance & Certification Specialist is responsible for ensuring all facilities meet certification and compliance standards. This role focuses on maintaining regulatory compliance, conducting routine inspections, and managing certification processes. Exceptional service to internal stakeholders, proactive follow-up, and issue resolution are key aspects of this position. Superb communication skills, organization, and attention to detail are vital. The Specialist collaborates closely with the Director of Real Estate and the Facilities team to ensure effective project coordination and site compliance.

Compensation:
- $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
How Therapists Empower Recovery
- Collect and organize site compliance and certification information, including inspection reports, building certifications, and documents required for site licensing
- Maintain a schedule of compliance activities, ensuring routine inspections and audits are conducted as required
- Identify and resolve compliance issues, coordinating with the Facilities Manager or Director of Real Estate
- Provide project execution support for facilities-related projects, working closely with the Construction Project Manager and Director of Real Estate
- Update team communication tools, including the Facilities Dashboard, Teams channel, and other tools as directed
- Create presentations or project documents to communicate compliance planning ideas
Qualifications
Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in facilities management, construction management, business administration, or related field
Professional Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a compliance-focused role, demonstrating strong understanding and application of regulatory standards
Other Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Windows-based applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook) and Bluebeam
Competencies: - Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Well developed communication skills, particularly writing/editing skills
- Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively with different personality types
- Demonstrate integrity through work ethic, personal accountability and ethical behavior
