Position Description
Access is seeking outstanding undergraduate candidates for our Summer Analyst Internship Program. Summer Analysts will gain direct exposure to private equity investing. The internship provides a dynamic and analytical experience, exposing interns to the critical components of Access’ investment process. Summer Analysts will work alongside members of the Investment Team and actively participate in team meetings, investment thesis development, market research, and due diligence.
Interns will conduct and compile research and analysis on industries and business models of interest. Summer Analysts are responsible for drafting precursory and in-depth industry and sector assessments; they will present these analyses to the Investment Team on a weekly basis. Through their findings, Summer Analysts will play a critical part in the development of Access’ investment theses and pipeline.
The internship is based at our headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland (a short commute from Washington, D.C.)

Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct and compile industry and company research
- Create industry overviews and prepare responses to diligence discussions
- Work with Associates to draft industry assessments
- Partner with other Investment Team members to present Investment Committee memo briefings
- Present briefings on industry assessment findings during Monday meetings and team updates

Requirements:
- Current junior with a record of high academic achievement (cumulative GPA 3.3 or higher)
- Must be eligible to work in the US without requiring sponsorship both now and in the future
