Who We Are

ACI Learning is a leading provider of audit, cybersecurity and IT training solutions, empowering individuals and organizations worldwide to improve their technical capabilities and their cybersecurity with compelling and comprehensive training. Our leadership position extends even further to our new SaaS Learning Platform myACI that goes beyond audit, cyber and IT training to provide organizational and individual knowledge assessment, analytics and training delivery with integrated AI to understand capabilities and skill gaps for organizations.

About the Role

ACI Learning Tech Academy is a nationally accredited, VA authorized, vocational training school focused on helping individuals start and advance their careers in IT & cybersecurity. The MVS Admissions Advisor plays a crucial role in supporting veterans, active military personnel, and their families as they navigate their educational and career goals. In this role, you will be out in the community representing ACI at military bases, events, and organizations. You will also be working with a team in the local campus, guiding prospective students through the admissions process. The role requires integrity and ethics as well as a general passion for helping others grow through learning.

What You'll Do

As a key member of our on-campus team in San Antonio, you’ll connect military-affiliated students with life-changing education and training opportunities through ACI Tech Academy. This is a quota-bearing role focused on driving enrollments, and your day-to-day will include:

  • Building relationships with military bases, veteran organizations, and community groups to promote our programs.

  • Attending military and community events to engage potential students and raise awareness of ACI’s offerings.

  • Delivering presentations and workshops tailored to transitioning service members, veterans, and their families.

  • Scheduling and attending meetings with education offices, transition counselors, and other key contacts managing programs like Skillbridge and Career Skills Programs.

  • Developing and managing a contact database of key stakeholders at military transition offices and education centers.

  • Guiding prospective students through the admissions process—from program selection and application submission to enrollment.

  • Advising students on how to use military education benefits like the GI Bill (Ch. 33) and VR&E (Ch. 31), along with other available funding.

  • Hosting campus tours and achieving internal certification as a Tour Guide to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Following up with leads, rebooking missed appointments, and reengaging with students who paused or withdrew from the enrollment process.

  • Maintaining accurate records of outreach and student progress in our CRM system.

  • Meeting outreach and engagement benchmarks, including response time and contact rate goals.

  • Occasionally working nights or weekends to support after-hours events.

  • Supporting additional responsibilities as needed by your manager.

What You'll Need

  • Military Background: Prior experience in the U.S. military—whether active duty, reserve, or National Guard—is required.

  • Base Access Eligibility: You must meet the requirements to access U.S. military installations, which includes passing a background check and obtaining necessary credentials (e.g., DoD ID or access passes).

  • On-Site Availability: This is a full-time, on-site role based at our San Antonio campus. You’ll need reliable transportation to commute to campus and attend off-site events such as base visits or career fairs.

  • Schedule Flexibility: While standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, you’ll need to be open to occasional nights or weekends for community or military events.

What We'd Like You To Have

  • A bachelor’s degree

  • Active base-access authorization (especially within the San Antonio area)

  • Experience in leadership, sales, admissions, or business development roles

  • Existing relationships or familiarity with military bases in the San Antonio region

Success will require

  • The ability to juggle multiple priorities while staying organized and focused

  • A creative mindset and willingness to test new messaging strategies

  • Skill in simplifying complex program details into clear, compelling talking points

  • Strong communication and influencing skills to engage a wide range of audiences

  • Confident closing skills, paired with empathy and a welcoming, student-first approach

  • Quick thinking and resilience—you’re comfortable adjusting on the fly and bouncing back from setbacks

  • A self-starter mindset with a hunter mentality for finding leads and building referral pipelines

  • A solid understanding of sales strategies, outreach techniques, and conversion funnels

  • High energy, a drive to hit goals, and a passion for trying new ideas to achieve results

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
