Who We Are

ACI Learning is a leading provider of audit, cybersecurity and IT training solutions, empowering individuals and organizations worldwide to improve their technical capabilities and their cybersecurity with compelling and comprehensive training. Our leadership position extends even further to our new SaaS Learning Platform myACI that goes beyond audit, cyber and IT training to provide organizational and individual knowledge assessment, analytics and training delivery with integrated AI to understand capabilities and skill gaps for organizations.

At ACI Learning, we believe that great instruction is at the heart of great outcomes—for our learners and for the industries we serve. As our Technical Instructor Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping that impact.

You’ll lead a talented, mission-driven team of remote and on-campus instructors, mentors, teaching assistants, and contracted faculty. Your focus will be on ensuring a consistently high standard of instruction, supporting professional development for our faculty, and championing student success across every program we deliver.

This is a role for someone who thrives on both strategy and execution—who understands how to elevate instruction through coaching, data-informed decision-making, and collaboration across departments. You’ll also help keep our programs aligned with accreditation standards, while driving innovation in curriculum delivery and student engagement.

If you’re passionate about adult education, energized by leading teams, and ready to make a meaningful difference in a fast-moving, tech-driven learning environment, we’d love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As the Technical Instructor Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to lead and grow a high-performing instructional team while driving the learning outcomes that matter most to our students and partners. You’ll wear many hats—coach, strategist, problem-solver—and play a key role in shaping the future of technical education at ACI Learning.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

Lead and Develop Our Faculty

  • Support, coach, and guide instructors, mentors, and teaching assistants—ensuring they’re empowered to deliver engaging, high-quality instruction.

  • Champion continuous learning by implementing professional development plans and facilitating regular team touchpoints.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and instructional excellence.

Drive Student Success

  • Monitor and analyze academic performance data—retention, certifications, evaluations, and more—to improve outcomes at scale.

  • Partner with academic and program leaders to refine teaching strategies and align them with accreditation and institutional goals.

  • Help shape support models that set learners up for long-term success.

Build Better Processes

  • Bring a strategic lens to academic operations, contributing to the design of innovative instructional models and scalable systems.

  • Use data and direct feedback to identify areas for improvement and translate insights into action.

  • Advocate for consistency and quality across every classroom experience.

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Be the bridge between faculty and cross-functional teams like Curriculum, Student Support, Career Services, Compliance, and Campus Operations.

  • Represent faculty voice in strategic planning and contribute to rollouts of new tools, technologies, and learning methodologies.

  • Collaborate on initiatives that elevate the student experience and drive workforce readiness.

Support Compliance and Quality Standards

  • Ensure instructional practices and faculty records meet regulatory, accreditation, and internal quality standards.

  • Promote best practices in academic integrity, training delivery, and institutional policy adherence.

What You'll Need (Requirements)

We’re looking for a thoughtful, mission-driven leader who’s passionate about supporting educators and helping learners succeed. Here’s what will help you thrive in this role:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Information Technology, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred but not required.

  • 3–5 years of experience managing instructional or faculty teams in a remote setting, ideally within technical or adult education.

  • A strong understanding of instructional strategies, adult learning theory, and best practices in technical training.

  • Hands-on experience with performance management, professional development, and using academic data to guide decision-making.

  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments that involve frequent change, competing priorities, and high standards.

  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), education technology tools, and the requirements tied to accreditation and compliance.

What Will Make Us Love You

You don’t need to have all of these to succeed here—but if some of these sound like you, we think you’ll thrive:

  • You’re familiar with IT certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+, and understand how they connect to real-world career outcomes.

  • You’ve successfully led hybrid or fully remote teams and know how to keep people aligned, engaged, and accountable from a distance.

  • You communicate clearly, stay organized, and build strong relationships across teams and functions.

  • You have working knowledge of compliance standards in vocational or technical training environments and understand how they impact instruction.

  • You bring a sharp analytical mindset and enjoy using performance data to drive action and improvement.

What We're Counting On From You

Once you’re on board, here’s how you’ll help us make a real impact—on our learners, our faculty, and the future of tech education:

  • Champion student success. You’ll play a key role in improving retention and engagement across all programs. That means helping instructors proactively support students, driving early interventions when needed, and building a learning environment where students feel connected and confident from start to finish.

  • Grow a high-performing faculty. You’ll coach and develop your team through regular observation, feedback, and personalized development plans. We’re counting on you to build a culture of continuous improvement and make sure instructional quality is consistently excellent.

  • Keep us audit-ready and accreditation-aligned. Compliance doesn’t have to feel like red tape—and under your leadership, it won’t. You’ll help ensure our faculty meets training and documentation requirements, all while maintaining the academic quality we’re known for.

  • Elevate outcomes that matter. Whether it’s increasing certification attempt rates or helping students graduate with job-ready skills, you’ll be at the forefront of aligning instruction with real-world impact. You’ll collaborate closely with curriculum and career services teams to make sure our programs deliver measurable value.

  • Be a cross-functional connector. You’ll work closely with teams across ACI Learning—from Content Development to Student Support—to solve problems, improve delivery, and create an outstanding experience for learners and faculty alike. Your ability to coordinate, follow through, and close loops will be key to everyone’s success.

We’re looking for someone who sees goals like these as opportunities—not just checkboxes. If you’re energized by building systems that work and leading people toward something meaningful, we think you’ll thrive here.

At ACI Learning, we offer a competitive, experience-driven salary range that aligns with your qualifications and contributions. To that end, the posted salary range reflects our most reasonable assumption of pay for this position at the time of posting.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
