Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

Deliver High-Impact Training

  • Lead the delivery of IT training in various modalities—including onsite classroom, informal coaching, and online instruction.

  • Facilitate hands-on labs and study sessions to reinforce critical technical skills.

  • Prepare instructional materials such as handouts, manuals, and digital content that align with certification standards.

  • Create and maintain a supportive learning environment, both in-person and online.

Support Student Success

  • Coach and mentor students toward certification readiness (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+).

  • Monitor learner progress, provide individualized support, and intervene early to prevent student drop-off.

  • Maintain accurate records of student development, participation, and progress toward exam goals.

  • Offer performance feedback and facilitate additional support when needed.

Shape Curriculum and Learning Resources

  • Analyze training needs and identify skill gaps among learners.

  • Design, adapt, and update curriculum to meet evolving industry requirements.

  • Align learning content with the demands of today’s IT job market and real-world scenarios.

  • Evaluate instructional effectiveness and modify delivery methods as necessary.

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Partner with fellow instructors to share best practices and ensure instructional consistency.

  • Liaise with external partners and certifying bodies to ensure training aligns with industry standards.

  • Coordinate with academic support and student services to elevate the learner experience.

Elevate Learning Outcomes

  • Use performance metrics and feedback to continuously improve instruction quality.

  • Help increase certification attempt and pass rates by delivering content aligned with exam objectives.

  • Promote student accountability and foster a culture of learning and professional growth.

  • Contribute to a data-driven training strategy that maximizes learner success.

What You’ll Need (Requirements)

We’re looking for a passionate educator who can confidently deliver IT training and support students in achieving meaningful certification outcomes. Here’s what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Current certifications in CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ (required)

  • Prior experience in technical instruction or CTT certification

  • Strong skills in student mentoring, coaching, and communication

  • Ability to deliver training across multiple formats (onsite, virtual, informal)

  • Familiarity with certification paths, career relevance, and IT job markets

What Will Make Us Love You

While not required, the following will give you a strong edge in the role:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

  • Experience in Instructional Design or Project Management

  • A strong analytical mindset with the ability to tailor instruction to diverse learner needs

  • Comfortable working with IT equipment and preparing technical environments

  • A team-first attitude and passion for student achievement and lifelong learning

What We’re Counting On From You

Once you’re on board, here’s how you’ll help drive success:

  • Deliver consistently high-quality instruction and hands-on labs that prepare students for certifications.

  • Guide learners with confidence and empathy, helping them succeed academically and professionally.

  • Contribute to continuous curriculum development and teaching innovations.

  • Align your instruction with the latest workforce trends and exam standards.

  • Be a proactive collaborator who helps elevate outcomes for students, peers, and the broader training organization.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.

How do you know if you have a disability?

A disability is a condition that substantially limits one or more of your “major life activities.” If you have or have ever had such a condition, you are a person with a disability. Disabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Alcohol or other substance use disorder (not currently using drugs illegally)

  • Blind or low vision
