Executive Assistant for the Country Director, Acumen Pakistan
Acumen is seeking an Executive Assistant for our Country leader, to join our Pakistan office in Karachi. We’re looking for a proactive candidate with at least 5 years of professional experience, superior attention to detail, a natural ability to multitask, and a commitment to tackling poverty. This is a growth-oriented role that combines core executive assistance with strategic support functions, with the potential to evolve into a key strategy position for the right candidate.

About the Role
This is a growth-oriented role that combines core executive assistance with strategic support functions, with the potential to evolve into a key strategy position for the right candidate. The role will be reporting to the Country Director
Key Accountabilities include
Primary Responsibilities - Executive Support (50%):
- Drive efficient calendar and email management across multiple time zones
- Coordinate local and international travel arrangements including visas, accommodations, and detailed itineraries
- Serve as the key communication hub between CEO, global team, and external stakeholders
- Manage sensitive information and communications with utmost discretion
- Ensure seamless day-to-day operations and anticipate administrative needs
Strategic Support Functions (30%):
- Prepare meeting briefing documents including background research on participants and strategic context
- Take detailed notes in key meetings and manage follow-up actions
- Support special projects and initiatives as needed
- Track and drive completion of action items across the organization
- Provide basic analysis and synthesis of information to support decision-making
Administrative Support Functions (20%):
- Manage existing vendors and engage with all third-party contractual partners on billing, verifications etc.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of work experience, with at least 3 years supporting C-level executives in global organisations
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills: ability to take primary responsibility for execution of diverse number of projects in timely manner with limited supervision
- Experience managing international travel and remote team coordination
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration tools
- Require excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Complete discretion with sensitive information, both within the company and externall
- Flexibility to work across multiple time zone
- Self-reflective and aligned with Acumen values
- Permanent authorization to work in Pakistan
