Summary of Key Responsibilities: The Press Brake Operator (2nd Shift) is responsible for daily operation of CNC Press Brakes including but not limited to set-up, bending of material per specifications, basic machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimization of safety.
**2nd Shift Position
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Daily operation of press brake from pre-set programs with minor adjustments for material variations.
Basic set up and loading of tools.
Form parts per specifications to meet quality and production goals.
Maintaining/cleaning of equipment.
Trumpf press brake experience is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with rapidly changing priorities.
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and related equipment.
Ability to read and operate basic measurement tools (tape measure, protractor, calipers)
Self-motivated and respond timely to production requirements
Must be detail oriented.
Contribute to building a positive team spirit and put success of the team above own interests.
Ability to speak English fluently.
Reliable transportation to comply with company attendance policy.
Summary of Experience and Education:
High school Diploma or GED.
Must be 18 or over.
Preferred 2 years of experience in fabrication.
Preferred 2 years of experience in CNC press brake operation.
