Partner Development Manager (Channel Sales) 

Adyen is seeking a Partner Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a partner’s commercial performance and driving sustainable sales impact. You will gain expertise in end-to-end solution selling and influence partner innovation. Your role will involve developing and driving business strategy between Adyen and Adobe, Microsoft and Salesforce. This opportunity will allow you to accelerate your career growth as you work with highly complex partner organizations, build strong relationships in the C-Suite and collaborate across multiple stakeholders to accelerate performance and resolve complex issues. 

The role is focused on building the go-to-market partner motion within the US market, driving co-selling and partner referral generation across our most strategic partners. This role will work internally alongside our commercial partner managers and sales managers and externally with the sales leadership of the partners to drive and execute against our country's goals and ambitions.

We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial flair and relevant network to identify, build and drive relationships that will help Adyen stand out from its competitors. 

What you’ll do

Partner development and growth

  • You will develop and execute a strategic and tactical partner business plan aligned with Adyen’s goals and objectives for a managed partner to grow their business. You will promote the payments integration and support digital transformation; plans will consider short and long-term goals and performance expectations aligned with partner needs and capabilities.

Partner Sales and Acceleration

  • You will develop a go to market plan and co-sell execution tactics, lead partner pipeline reviews and coach partners to transform their strategies around sales and consumption. You will facilitate collaboration between partner and internal sales teams to overcome obstacles, compete, and create proposals to meet consumption and revenue targets.You will work with your partner on top opportunities following the Adyen sales methodology, where possible.

Partner performance and Impact

  • You will be responsible for your partners’ commercial performance with Adyen and accountable for keeping a regular rhythm of connection with the partner’s go to market team.

Who you are

  • You have 5-8 years of working experience
  • You have worked in a Partner Channel sales capacity and have an outstanding network because you are a born networker with high energy, self-starter with a hands-on mentality and a commercial edge and entrepreneurial spirit;
  • You’ll have an in-depth knowledge of the US channel sales market and have worked with Adobe, Microsoft, Salesforce or Oracle in this capacity 
  • Winning is more important than ego; you love working as a team
  • You have a proven commercial track record and entrepreneurial mindset
  • A storyteller with excellent presentation skills, able to deliver propositions the audience wants to retell
  • Willing to travel domestically up to 30% of the time
  • You have full professional proficiency (written and verbal) in English
