Senior Demand Generation Manager 

At Adyen, we are at the forefront of financial technology, driving innovation in payment solutions for enterprise businesses globally. We are seeking an experienced, data-driven and self-motivated Senior Demand Generation Marketing Manager to drive impactful acquisition strategies for our Unified Commerce business within the North America market. This hybrid role will work from our San Francisco or New York office and report directly to our Unified Commerce Marketing Team Lead. 

As a Senior Demand Generation Marketing Manager at Adyen, you are pipeline-driven, highly-collaborative, and always learning. You will own the strategic vision for demand generation, including planning, building and optimizing targeted marketing campaigns across owned and paid channels. You’ll work closely with our Sales, SDR and Marketing teams to develop and implement strategies that generate results through the funnel from leads to opportunities.

This is a highly-matrixed role which will drive results hand in hand with the US, Canada, and Global Marketing teams. The ideal candidate is also highly experienced at stakeholder management and collaborating across Sales, SDRs, Partnerships, and Account Management to meet revenue-based goals through integrated marketing tactics. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Strategic Development: Propose and implement strategies that drive sales accepted opportunities in collaboration with local and global acquisition marketing teams. 
  • Campaign Management: Plan, set up, and optimize demand generation programs for North America utilizing tactics such as 1:many, 1:few, and 1:1 account-based marketing, as well as paid social, trade publications, display advertising, content syndication, and email marketing.
  • Annual Planning: Contribute to the North America annual marketing plan in collaboration with event marketing, product marketing, PR, customer marketing, Canada marketing, and our leadership teams.
  • Market Insights: Maintain a pulse on latest marketing trends and the actions of our competitors to continuously optimize strategies 
  • Target Account Lists: Collaborate with Sales and SDRs to identify and segment target account lists by priority verticals.
  • Content Creation: Create compelling content for digital campaigns, web and landing pages, and other marketing materials tailored to prioritized accounts and verticals.
  • Commercial Alignment: Work closely with the commercial engine to align efforts, leverage insights, and ensure cohesive execution across all marketing touchpoints.
  • Partner Ecosystem: Incorporate key technology partners, payment partners, & alliance partners into the overall marketing strategy.
  • Webinars & Content: Manage end-to-end creation and execution of acquisition-focused webinars and content, including goal definition, material crafting, vendor selection, promotion, execution, follow-up, and analysis.
  • Analytics & Optimization: Utilize analytics tools to assess campaign effectiveness and propose optimizations based on data such as Looker, Marketo reporting, and Salesforce Dashboards. 

Who you are: 

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years in a demand generation role with a focus on acquiring new customers. B2B marketing experience and comfort with complex buying committees required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of marketing to retail industries. Proven ability to create targeted campaigns that generate high-quality leads.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in email marketing, ABM tools, Salesforce, and Marketo. Experience with data-driven optimizations and analytics tools is a plus.
  • Analytical Mindset: Data-driven with strong analytical skills. Capable of optimizing campaigns based on performance metrics.
  • Strategic & Hands-On: Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution and optimization.
  • Self-Motivated: A proactive, self-starter who excels at multitasking, prioritizing, and managing diverse stakeholder needs.
  • Fluent spoken and written English is a requirement
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 15%+

This role is based out of our San Francisco or New York office. We are an office-first company and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.
