Printing and Document Management Specialist

American Farm Bureau Insurance Services, Inc. (AFBIS, Inc.) is looking for a Printing and Document Management Specialist to work out of our Fargo, North Dakota Office. 

The Printing and Document Management Specialist will be responsible for ensuring timely and high-quality printing, distribution, scanning and filing of documents.  Production print jobs can and may include crop insurance documents, daily policy and check creation, newsletter print/mail, brochures, magazines, educational material, reference manuals, and any other such documents as necessary to support our customers.

The Printing and Document Management Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Printing, mailing, scanning, assembling, and managing multiple machines and productions jobs with the ability to re-prioritize in a dynamic work environment
  • Communicating with the Printing and Document Management Supervisor to ensure appropriate levels of inventory and/or supplies are maintained
  • Requesting service calls/tickets for all production machines
  • Ensuring quality and timeliness of all production print jobs, educational material, reference manuals, along with any other documents
  • Working with Information System Staff to test and monitor print output to ensure the highest quality product is delivered for our customers
  • Coordinating requests for special print projects
  • Maintaining secure environments for all Personally Identifiable Information (PII) that is involved in document management

What you will bring to this position:

  • Associates Degree or 2 years’ experience with document management and printing
  • Experience using Cannon high speed printers and the Neopost Mailing Machine and Envelop Stuffer
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • The ability to research and identify requirements for complex printing projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Crop Insurance knowledge is a plus

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $40,000 and $50,000. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
