The Opportunity
 
The Recruiting team empowers Airbyte to achieve its mission by attracting, selecting, and hiring top-tier technical talent. With deep expertise in full-cycle recruiting within a competitive, tech-driven environment, you will have the opportunity not only to fill critical roles but also to contribute meaningfully to the ongoing refinement of Airbyte’s recruiting practices. Our recruiters wear many hats and often lend a hand in hiring other departments. This Technical Recruiting role will also be responsible for helping Airbyte hire its GTM market team. 
 
What You'll Do
  • Source and engage with top-tier talent across technical and non-technical roles using platforms like LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, and other innovative sourcing methods.
  • Collaborate closely with Recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand hiring needs, team dynamics, and long-term goals.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess skills, qualifications, and alignment with company culture.
  • Act as an ambassador for the company, sharing a compelling brand story to attract high-quality talent.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), such as Greenhouse, ensuring a seamless and transparent hiring pipeline.
  • Provide actionable insights by compiling and analyzing hiring metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing creative solutions.
  • Participate in regular hiring team syncs to share pipeline updates, insights, and candidate progress.
  • Play a crucial role within a fast-paced environment while working to coordinate and manage onsite, phone, and virtual candidate interviews with systems like ModernLoop. 

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of experience in sourcing or recruiting predominantly with go-to-market roles.
  • 1+ year in technical sourcing is a plus.
  • 1+ year of experience in scheduling or managing schedules.
  • You’re a proactive self-starter who navigates ambiguity with ease.
  • Strong ability to assess candidate qualifications, both technically and culturally.
  • Proven success in building trusted relationships with hiring teams, acting as a strategic partner in the recruitment process.
  • Experience contributing to recruiting projects or initiatives that have driven impactful results.
  • Metrics-driven mindset with the ability to navigate fast-paced, dynamic environments effectively.
  • A proactive and resourceful team player who thrives in solving complex hiring challenges.

Location

  • San Francisco Bay Area. 3 days per week. 
 
Salary
  • This is a 6 month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion. $45-$65/ hour.
