
Business Operations Associate
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly capable Business Operations Associate to support and enhance day-to-day operations across AJ Boggs. This is a hands-on, high-impact role designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is motivated to improve how work gets done across as growing technology company.
This is not a traditional administrative position. You will work directly with leadership and cross-functional teams on a wide range of initiatives, from executing projects and streamlining processes to identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and eager to take ownership of meaningful work that directly impacts the business.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support day-to-day operations across departments including HR, finance, IXN (hosting), software development, marketing, and sales
• Execute and coordinate projects, ensuring tasks move forward efficiently and effectively
• Support operational logistics, including coordination and vendor management across teams
• Support financial and administrative processes such as expense tracking, purchasing, and reporting
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate internal workflows using tools such as AI and other technologies
• Take ownership of small projects or initiatives, driving them from concept through completion with guidance from leadership
• Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making across business, technical, or operational areas
• Assist with coordination and communication across teams to ensure alignment and follow-through on key priorities
• Demonstrate initiative in identifying problems, proposing solutions, and taking action in a fast-paced environment

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented, with a high degree of accuracy, highly organized, and flexible
• Ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office—Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
• Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited direction
• Must be able to maintain proprietary information in the strictest confidence
• 2 years of related experience
• Minimum education level: Bachelor’s degree
• Must be interested in learning and growing with AJBoggs
BENEFITS & COMPENSATION
This is for full-time positions with the option for overtime and is benefit eligible. The hourly compensation for this position is between $25 to $30/hour, and comes with a broad range of benefits, including health, dental & vision insurance; professional development assistance; holidays & personal days; and a company IRA Match. WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job is in a professional, dynamic office environment in Okemos, Michigan. Travel is primarily local during business days, although some out-of-area and overnight travel is expected.
