AlertMedia is looking for an experienced Deal Desk Analyst to be a key member of the sales cycle. This position will be responsible for all aspects of deal structuring, including pricing, proposal creation and approval, and post-pricing follow-up. The Deal Desk Analyst will report to the Director, Finance and Business Operations and partner with Account Executives, Sales Management, Legal, and Customer Success Managers to ensure deals are priced and implemented effectively.

You are a vital part of the sales process, ensuring all deals are profitable, compliant and efficient. 

What you get to do every day: 

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between Sales, Finance, Legal, and Implementation to ensure smooth execution of pricing strategies, timely deal approval, accurate contract terms, and successful customer implementations. 
  • Manage Deal Structuring and Pricing: Work closely with Sales and Finance teams to structure competitive pricing for both new business and expansion opportunities. 
  • Proposal Creation and Review: Collaborate on the development of proposals and ensure all pricing and terms align with company strategy, client requirements, and profitability goals. 
  • Sales Support and Enablement: Proactively support the sales team with deal guidance, helping them navigate complex pricing and contract structures to streamline negotiations. 
  • Process Optimization: Lead projects aimed at simplifying and improving the deal process, ensuring alignment across teams and increasing overall efficiency in closing deals. 
  • Compliance: Ensure all deals are properly documented and company policies and procedures are adhered to at all stages of the sales cycle. 
  • KPI Management: Develop, track, and report on key Deal Desk and Sales metrics to identify areas for continuous improvement and drive operational excellence. 

What you bring to the role: 

  • 4+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales/Revenue Operations, Pricing, or similar roles, ideally within a SaaS company. 
  • Strong understanding of deal structuring, pricing strategies, and proposal creation for complex sales. 
  • Experience with Salesforce and other sales tools to manage pricing and proposal workflows. 
  • Strong technical skills in Excel, with the ability to create new tools from scratch, troubleshoot formulas, and analyze large sets of data. 
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and the ability to optimize processes for efficiency and scale. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate complex pricing and deal terms into clear, actionable guidance for the sales team. 
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a focus on deadlines and deal velocity.
