Who you are: 

You’re an experienced and dynamic Mid-Market Sales Manager to lead and mentor a team of high-performing sales professionals. This critical role is designed to elevate our mid-market sales strategy by enabling our salespeople to successfully open and close business within enterprise-level accounts. If you have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, developing top talent, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit within an organizational framework, we want to hear from you.

Sales Leadership & Coaching:  

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Mid-Market Account Executives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and achievement. 
  • Provide hands-on coaching and guidance to help team members identify, qualify, and break into enterprise-level accounts. 
  • Roll up your sleeves and co-sell with your team on complex deals, providing strategic guidance and active participation in customer meetings when necessary. 
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and pipeline reviews to ensure team success. 
  • Identify individual and team training needs and collaborate with enablement teams to develop and deliver relevant programs. 

Enterprise Account Penetration Strategy: 

  • Develop and implement strategies and tactics to help the mid-market team effectively target, engage, and close enterprise-level opportunities. 
  • Help the team navigate large organizations, identify key stakeholders, and build champions within enterprise accounts. 

Performance Management & Reporting: 

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the mid-market sales team. 
  • Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas of opportunity and develop action plans to improve performance. 
  • Accurately forecast sales results and contribute to strategic planning. 
  • Ensure CRM hygiene and data accuracy for effective pipeline management. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and other internal teams to align strategies and ensure a seamless customer journey. 
  • Provide feedback from the field to inform product development and marketing initiatives. 

Entrepreneurial Drive: 

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments within the mid-market that have enterprise potential. 
  • Champion innovative sales approaches and methodologies to drive growth and efficiency. 
  • Act as a leader who consistently seeks out opportunities to improve processes and outcomes. 

What you bring to the role: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 
  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience, with a strong emphasis on selling B2B SaaS or complex solutions to mid-market and ideally, some enterprise accounts. 
  • 2+ years of sales management experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams. 
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas as both an individual contributor and a sales manager. 
  • Demonstrated experience in helping sales teams "break into" and close business with larger, more complex enterprise organizations. 
  • A player-coach mentality with the willingness and ability to actively participate in sales cycles and co-sell alongside your team. 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to innovate, adapt, and drive results within a structured organizational environment. 
  • Exceptional coaching, mentoring, and communication skills. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools. 
  • Ability to travel as needed. 
  • Strong preference for Austin based candidates.
