AlertMedia is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer, Enterprise, to partner with our Enterprise Sales team and serve as the trusted technical advisor throughout the customer buying journey. In this role, you'll help some of the world's largest organizations evaluate how AlertMedia fits into their technology ecosystem by leading technical discovery, delivering tailored product demonstrations, validating integrations, and guiding customers through technical evaluations.

As the technical bridge between Sales, Product, Engineering, and prospective customers, you'll simplify complex technical concepts, solve challenging business problems, and help secure the technical win in enterprise sales opportunities. You'll play a critical role in educating and empowering prospects to make confident decisions while ensuring AlertMedia is positioned as the best solution for their needs.

Every day you'll collaborate across teams, influence product direction through customer feedback, and contribute to AlertMedia's continued growth while being part of our award-winning culture.

Who you are:

You thrive at the intersection of technology and business. You're passionate about helping enterprise customers solve complex challenges and enjoy translating technical capabilities into business value for both technical and executive audiences.

You have a consultative mindset, excel at building trusted relationships, and are equally comfortable whiteboarding an API integration with developers as you are presenting business outcomes to executive stakeholders. You enjoy working collaboratively with Account Executives and believe the best customer experiences happen when everyone operates as one team with one goal.

What you get to do every day:

  • Partner with Enterprise Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to drive technical strategy and help secure technical wins.
  • Lead consultative technical discovery sessions to understand customer business objectives, technical environments, architecture, integration requirements, security considerations, implementation constraints, and success criteria. Translate discovery findings into a clear technical solution strategy.
  • Deliver compelling, value-based product demonstrations tailored to each customer's technical and business objectives.
  • Design and guide technical evaluations, proof of concepts (PoCs), and pilot programs that validate AlertMedia's value within enterprise environments.
  • Become a subject matter expert across the AlertMedia platform and its technical capabilities.
  • Design solution approaches that demonstrate how AlertMedia integrates into existing enterprise technology ecosystems. Confidently discuss APIs, webhooks, authentication, data flows, integration patterns, and implementation considerations with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Identify potential technical risks early and proactively develop solutions that remove obstacles to adoption.
  • Own the technical response for RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, compliance discussions, and technical documentation.
  • Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both executive and technical stakeholders, adapting your approach to different audiences.
  • Document technical best practices and continuously improve presales processes to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing to communicate customer feedback, competitive insights, and product enhancement opportunities.
  • Stay current on industry trends, enterprise technology, and AlertMedia's evolving platform capabilities.

What you bring to the role:

  • 5+ years of Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Pre-Sales Engineering experience supporting enterprise SaaS customers.
  • Experience partnering with Enterprise Account Executives on complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Strong consultative problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions.
  • Experience leading technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, proof of concepts, and technical evaluations.
  • Strong technical fluency with REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, webhooks, authentication protocols (SSO, SAML, OAuth), cloud applications, enterprise integrations, and modern SaaS architecture.
  • Experience responding to RFPs, security reviews, and technical due diligence for enterprise customers.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, accelerate technical research, create customer-facing deliverables, or streamline presales workflows while maintaining accuracy and sound judgment.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to developers, architects, administrators, business users, and executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to deliver compelling value-based demonstrations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Highly collaborative with a customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred technical qualifications:

  • Experience using API testing tools such as Postman or similar to validate integrations, troubleshoot API interactions, or support customer technical evaluations.
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical documentation and specifications to support customer integrations and technical discussions.
  • Basic scripting experience (JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, or similar) to automate repetitive tasks, validate integrations, or improve technical workflows is a plus.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security concepts, compliance frameworks, and technical evaluation or procurement processes.

Location: Austin, TX preferred; open to remote candidates based in the U.S.

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
