You'll act as the technical bridge between Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and prospective customers—simplifying complex technical concepts, solving challenging business problems, and helping secure technical wins across AlertMedia's largest enterprise opportunities.

Every day you'll collaborate across teams, influence go-to-market strategy, elevate technical excellence across the organization, and contribute to AlertMedia's continued growth while being part of our award-winning culture.

Who you are:

Beyond supporting your own opportunities, you're motivated to improve how the entire Solutions Engineering organization operates. You naturally look for opportunities to scale technical excellence through process improvements, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

What you get to do every day:

  • Own the technical strategy for AlertMedia's largest and most strategically important enterprise opportunities, serving as the senior technical advisor responsible for solution design, technical alignment, executive confidence, and overall technical success throughout the sales cycle.
  • Partner with Enterprise Account Executives to develop account strategies and drive technical wins throughout the sales cycle.
  • Lead consultative technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments, business priorities, enterprise architecture, security requirements, integration needs, and success criteria.
  • Deliver compelling, value-based product demonstrations tailored to executive, business, and technical audiences.
  • Design and lead enterprise proof of concepts (PoCs), pilot programs, and technical evaluations that validate AlertMedia's value in complex customer environments.
  • Design enterprise solution architectures and advise customers on integrating AlertMedia into complex technology environments. Lead technical discussions around APIs, authentication, integration patterns, data flows, scalability, and implementation considerations.
  • Lead technical discussions around security, compliance, scalability, and implementation best practices.
  • Own complex RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, and technical due diligence for enterprise opportunities.
  • Identify technical risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and remove obstacles that could impact successful deal execution.
  • Influence product strategy by synthesizing recurring customer requirements, competitive insights, technical trends, and enterprise architecture feedback into actionable recommendations for Product and Engineering leadership.
  • Provide technical leadership across the Solutions Engineering organization through mentoring, deal coaching, technical reviews, enablement, and development of best practices that elevate the team's overall technical capability.
  • Develop and standardize scalable demo environments, reusable technical assets, architecture guidance, and technical playbooks that improve consistency and technical excellence across the Solutions Engineering organization.
  • Lead cross-functional technical initiatives that improve presales effectiveness, technical consistency, and scalability across the Solutions Engineering organization.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, enterprise architecture patterns, and competitive offerings.

What you bring to the role:

  • 8+ years of Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Pre-Sales Engineering experience supporting enterprise SaaS customers.
  • Proven success supporting complex enterprise sales cycles with Fortune 1000 or similarly large organizations.
  • Experience partnering with Enterprise Account Executives on strategic, multi-stakeholder opportunities involving executive decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated expertise leading technical discovery, solution design, proof of concepts, technical evaluations, and enterprise architecture discussions with customer technical stakeholders.
  • Deep expertise designing enterprise SaaS solution architectures involving REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, webhooks, authentication protocols (SSO, SAML, OAuth), enterprise integrations, cloud applications, and modern software architecture.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex enterprise integration challenges by analyzing API responses, authentication flows, system architecture, and customer environments while guiding technical stakeholders toward resolution.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and business acumen, with the ability to influence technical teams, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional partners while translating complex technical capabilities into measurable business value.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop other Solutions Engineers while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
  • Experience creating reusable technical documentation, sales enablement content, or repeatable presales processes that improve team effectiveness.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-impact opportunities simultaneously.
  • A customer-first mindset, intellectual curiosity, and passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve technical research, solution design, customer deliverables, presales processes, and organizational enablement while helping establish best practices for responsible AI adoption across the Solutions Engineering team.

Preferred technical qualifications:

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
