We believe building resilience should be simpler—and it starts with bringing critical information and workflows together in one unified platform.

  • We work better together
  • Simplicity is our strength

The Role:

AlertMedia is seeking a Financial Systems Manager to join the Finance and Accounting team. This role sits within the Finance Operations (FinOps) function as the strategic owner of the financial systems ecosystem. Reporting to the VP of FP&A, you will focus on finance data operations, automation, and systems integrations.

This is more than a traditional ERP administrator role. You will administer and enhance NetSuite, support Zone Billing, manage middleware integrations (Workato), and ensure data flows seamlessly across systems that impact FinOps. You will lead full lifecycle implementations for FinOps-owned back-office initiatives, partnering closely with Accounting, FP&A, RevOps, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Legal, and Engineering. You will also own hands-on data movement, reconciliation, cross-system workflows, reporting, and process support.

Beyond system administration, you will act as a strategic operator—analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and proactively designing scalable, system-driven solutions that improve reliability, insight, and operational maturity.

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to improve cross-system connectivity, elevate process automation, strengthen governance, and enable Finance Operations to scale with the business.

Who You Are:

You thrive at the intersection of finance, systems, and operations. You enjoy solving complex workflow challenges and turning manual processes into scalable, automated solutions.

You combine strong analytical thinking with systems fluency and can quickly identify where data breaks down, where processes stall, and where technology can create leverage. You are comfortable getting into configuration details while also thinking strategically about long-term architecture and scalability.

You communicate technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders and translate operational needs into practical system solutions. You take ownership, operate with urgency, and bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset to every initiative.

What you get to do every day:

Financial Systems Administration & Governance

  • Serve as primary administrator for NetSuite, including configuration, workflows, roles/permissions, and system governance.
  • Own relationships with Finance technology vendors and implementation partners, including prioritization, oversight, testing, and successful delivery.
  • Administer and support Zone Billing and related billing processes.
  • Manage and maintain middleware integrations (Workato) to ensure accurate, reliable data flow across systems.
  • Partner with system owners across departments to ensure data integrity and alignment of key dimensions and reporting measures.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation, controls, and governance across the finance systems environment.

System Integration & Data Reliability

  • Own the integration strategy across systems that impact FinOps, ensuring seamless connectivity between ERP, billing, CPQ, legal repositories (e.g., Ivo), and other operational platforms.
  • Lead full lifecycle system implementations and integration projects for FinOps-owned initiatives.
  • Ensure upstream and downstream systems properly support billing, reporting, and revenue workflows.
  • Monitor data flows to identify and resolve system gaps, integration failures, incomplete transfers, and data-quality issues.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external service providers to resolve technical issues.

AI & Automation

  • Design and implement AI-enabled workflows, agents, and intelligent automation solutions within Finance.
  • Use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI platforms to solve practical business problems, reduce manual work, and improve process reliability.
  • Evaluate finance processes for automation opportunities and prioritize solutions based on business impact.
  • Demonstrate measurable results from AI and automation initiatives rather than relying solely on theoretical knowledge or general interest.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with Accounting, FP&A, RevOps, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Legal, Engineering, and other stakeholders to redesign Finance business processes, ensuring technology enables scalable, standardized, and well-controlled operations.
  • Translate business requirements into practical data, systems, and automation solutions.
  • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and control risks across finance workflows.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, operational risk, and the evolving needs of the organization.

What you bring to the role:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial systems, finance operations, or business systems roles.
  • Hands-on experience administering ERP platforms, with NetSuite strongly preferred. Advanced configuration and technical development will be supported by external partners.
  • Strong understanding of system integrations, system-to-system data flows, and data-quality controls.
  • Experience with integration and automation tools (Workato or similar middleware preferred).
  • Proven hands-on experience building AI-enabled workflows, agents, or intelligent automation solutions that have been applied to real business processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Salesforce, Zone Billing, Dealhub, or similar business systems are preferred.
  • Experience working in a SaaS or subscription-based business is helpful.

Location: Strong preference for candidates located in Austin, Texas to work a hybrid (2 days a week) in our downtown headquarters.

Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have existing authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
