Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter with a strong focus on engineering roles to join our team. In this role, you will lead efforts to identify, attract, and secure top-tier talent for our growing organization. You will work closely with hiring managers across engineering and other technical departments to meet the organization's talent needs. Your role will be critical in ensuring an excellent candidate experience while maintaining the company's high standards for talent acquisition. This position reports directly to the People and Culture Manager. 

What You'll Do:

Talent Sourcing:

  • Develop and execute innovative strategies to source and attract top technical talent
  • Utilize tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, and referral networks to engage passive candidates effectively, alongside targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.

Candidate Engagement:

  • Conduct initial screens to assess candidates’ technical and cultural fit.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s mission and effectively articulate the team’s vision to attract and close top-tier technical talent.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by maintaining proactive communication and engagement at every stage.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and interview strategies.
  • Coordinate closely with interview panels to ensure a seamless and efficient hiring process.
  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers on sourcing progress and recruitment metrics.

Recruitment Operations:

  • Own the end-to-end recruitment life cycle, from sourcing to offer acceptance
  • Schedule and facilitate interviews, including recruiter screens, technical assessments, and onsite interviews.
  • Optimize and refine recruitment processes to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive hiring practices.

Employer Branding:

  • Represent the company at recruitment events, job fairs, and other networking opportunities.

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical recruitment in a fast-paced tech startup or tech company.
  • Deep understanding of technical skills, tools, and technologies commonly used in engineering disciplines (e.g., CAD, programming languages, DevOps tools).
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing passive engineering talent through creative and proactive approaches.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple engineering roles and priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with engineers and technical leaders.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools (Greenhouse preferred).
  • Experience with high-volume environments utilizing sourcing tools such as LinkedIn, or technical forums (Boolean, etc.).
  • Knowledge of engineering industry trends and challenges, particularly in attracting top talent.
  • Stellar attention to detail and demonstrates grit, speed, and passion.
  • Experience managing external recruiting partners and vendors.
  • A technical background, such as a degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, is strongly preferred.
