Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and innovative Content Creator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production (filming and editing), an in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, and exceptional copywriting skills to develop content that captures and engages audiences. This role requires a trend-savvy thinker who thrives in creating platform-native content. Additionally, this role will involve managing social media channels and leveraging analytics to optimize performance.


What You'll Do:

  • Content Ideation & Research:
    • Stay up-to-date on social media trends, internet culture, and competitor content.
    • Research and compile social trends, best-in-class examples, and innovative executions to inform new content ideas.
  • Content Creation & Execution:
    • Create storyboards, shot lists, and pre-production materials for both website and social-first content.
    • Film and edit original video content, handling all phases of production, including lighting, sound design, color correction, and post-production.
    • Develop branded style templates for social content like Instagram Stories and Reels.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely across teams to align on goals and ensure content resonates with the target audience.
    • Brainstorm and execute “outside-the-box” ideas that drive engagement and inspire rewatching and sharing.

Social Media Management

    • Manage the day-to-day operations of social media platforms, including X, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
    • Schedule, publish, and monitor posts to ensure timely and consistent engagement across all channels.
    • Respond to comments, direct messages, and interactions to foster a strong and engaged online community.
    • Develop and implement social media strategies to grow follower counts and drive meaningful engagement.

Analytics & Optimization:

  • Monitor and analyze social media performance using analytics tools to measure reach, engagement, and conversion.
  • Generate regular reports to highlight trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine content strategies and optimize social media performance.

What You'll Need:

Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in photography, videography, and video editing.
    • Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and frame clarity.
    • Familiarity with studio tools such as ring lights, tripods, backdrops, and props.
    • Expertise in editing software and creative tools for efficient workflows.
  • Creative Expertise:
    • Exceptional eye for social-media-first video content, particularly on TikTok and Instagram.
    • Strong copywriting ability to adopt and adapt brand voice and tone.
    • A strong visual mindset and a passion for storytelling.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Excellent verbal communication skills to articulate creative direction and technical processes.
    • Strong time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • A collaborative mindset, with enthusiasm for teamwork and cross-functional projects.
    • Fearless creativity and willingness to experiment with unconventional ideas.
