Mental Health Clinician

We are Aspire Living & Learning, a non-profit human services agency making a meaningful difference in the lives of adults and children with autism and other disabilities.
Aspire Living & Learning is currently seeking a Mental Health Clinician responsible for the daily management of assigned caseload and ongoing training and implementation of supports for persons supported at Aspire. With a focus on mental health, they will work with stakeholders (e.g., individuals, program operations, guardians, other support service providers) to provide holistic support for people on their caseload as well as across location consultation, when applicable.
Salary: $65,000-$75,000 based on education and experience
Hours: M-F 8a-4p
Location: Between NH and MA as needed
Roles/Responsibilities:
Program Oversight:
Works with the direct supervisor to employ Aspire’s Mission, Vision and Core Values across a variety of settings. Carries a caseload of individuals receiving supports from the agency, performs assessments, writes behavioral plans, in consultation with a BCBA when applicable, as well as treatment plans when appropriate. Completes all assessments and related requirements in compliance with Aspire, regulatory, and licensing standards. Facilitates trainings whenever necessary. Monitors, verifies, and documents direct support professionals’ adherence to plan implementation and subsequent outcomes. Participates in the agency’s clinical on-call rotation as assigned. Oversees implementation of evidence-based practices as assessed and prescribed by their clinical team.
Administrative Tasks:
Completes all required documentation. Meet deadlines. Ensures relevant sections of electronic records are up to date and accurate. Conducts training on mental health topics at the agency and local level, when applicable.
Collaboration & Communication:
Effectively communicates in both verbal and written form with necessary stakeholders. Accepts feedback from supervisors to ensure the quality of program implementation. Communicates and collaborates with both internal and external team members and stakeholders. Maintains ethical and professional boundaries and guidelines. Works cooperatively and collaboratively with all necessary stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure continuity of care. Consults on cases across the agency, when applicable.
Our ideal candidate:
- Holds at least Master’s Degree and current licensure in respective field (e.g., psychology, school psychology, social work)
- Meets standardized requirements and supervisory experience for certified/licensed field.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Computer skills required.
- The ability to remain composed and adherent to best practices, even when under duress.
- Valid driver’s license required, with at least 3 years of driving experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, experience using Therap a plus!
