Core Ops: Sr. Operations Manager, Process Innovation
We are looking for a mission-driven, hard-working team member who is passionate about making mental health more affordable and is excited by the entrepreneurial challenges of designing and planning operational workflows for a rapidly scaling Core Operations team.
Today, our Process Innovation team acts as an internal consulting and implementation team to our broader Core Ops teams. As a Sr. Operations Manager of Process Innovation, you will be responsible for unlocking and building key process optimizations that will enable Alma’s operations teams to scale through our next chapter of growth by using business insights and creativity to drive strategic change. Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, you will assist in developing and implementing a strategic roadmap of initiatives that drive our overall business objectives.
In addition, you will partner closely with Operations leadership to design and build the roadmap and workflows that the team will rely on to execute high-quality, excellent operations. You will interact regularly with and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Product Engineering, Customer Success, Business Intelligence, and Payer Partnerships.
The ideal candidate has a bias towards action, a strong sense of ownership, thrives in ambiguous situations, and enjoys driving cross-functional projects through to completion.
What you’ll do:
- Lead initiatives centered on new projects, process improvements, and customer experience enhancements, overseeing execution from discovery to recommendation and implementation
- Develop and prioritize a strategic roadmap of enhancements to drive meaningful impact on key business metrics
- Foster strong relationships with Business Intelligence, Product, and Operational stakeholders across the organization to identify needs and deliver comprehensive solutions
- Mentor junior team members and lay the foundation for building a high-performing team
- Collaborate closely with product leaders to foster strong alignment between product and operations teams
- Drive organization-wide strategic initiatives and manage high-priority escalations
Who you are:
- 5-8 years experience working in an operations role preferably within healthcare, consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy, or a high-growth startup
- You have at least 2-4 years of people management experience
- Proven experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives with strong business acumen and deep understanding of business and financial principles
- Track record of driving results in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- You are a team player who can roll up their sleeves to support the team creatively while balancing the management of other projects through prioritization.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and provide strategic recommendations
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative analysis, including building complex Excel models; SQL proficiency is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, paired with a relentless focus on organization, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent project management skills.

Salary Band: $150,000 - $175,000
