Your Role:
As an Operations Associate – PSP (Payment Service Provider), you will support the payment and funding operations that enable customers to seamlessly move money into and out of the Alpaca platform. You will play a key role in monitoring payment workflows, assisting with reconciliation processes, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our payment operations.
Based in our GIFT City (Gujarat International Finance Tec-City) office, you will work closely with teams across operations, finance, compliance, and engineering to maintain efficient and compliant payment processes. This includes monitoring deposits and withdrawals, investigating payment exceptions, and supporting integrations with payment partners and financial institutions.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is detail-oriented, analytical, and interested in learning how modern fintech platforms manage payment infrastructure and financial operations. You will gain hands-on exposure to payment systems, reconciliation workflows, and operational processes that support global financial services.
Things You Get To Do:
- Monitor daily payment operations including deposits, withdrawals, and funding workflows
- Perform reconciliations between internal systems, banking partners, and payment providers
- Investigate and help resolve payment exceptions, failed transactions, and operational discrepancies
- Support operational workflows related to payment processing and settlement
- Work with internal teams to escalate and resolve payment-related customer issues
- Assist in maintaining documentation for payment operations procedures and workflows
- Help improve operational efficiency by identifying opportunities for process improvements
- Support operational readiness for new payment methods, partners, and product features
Who You Are (Must-Haves):
- 0–2 years of experience in payments operations, financial operations, fintech, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with financial data accurately
- Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple operational workflows in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in fintech, payments infrastructure, and financial services
Who You Might Be (Nice-to-Haves):
- Internship or prior exposure to payment operations, banking operations, or fintech platforms
- Familiarity with payment rails, bank transfers, or digital payment systems
- Experience working with spreadsheets or basic data analysis tools
- Understanding of reconciliation processes and transaction monitoring
- Experience working in a startup or fast-growing fintech environment
Location Requirement:
This role is based onsite in GIFT City, Gujarat, and requires working from the office in accordance with regulatory and operational requirements.
