Data Solutions Developer – Intern 

In the role of a Data Solutions Intern, you will learn new approaches and techniques to analyze data management and analytics requirements and consequently develop concepts as well as implement solutions. You will experiment with a combination of modern technologies and legacy systems as part of our endeavor to develop new solutions and improve data processing. You will work with our team of experienced data engineers and architects who will support you along your way, but you must possess a spark that drives you forward, have a curious mindset, and be energized by operating with a degree of autonomy! 

 

Potential responsibilities 

  • Evaluate existing data technology infrastructures and create concepts to improve them as well as to integrate them with modernized environments
  • Conduct established data engineering and analysis methods with new data sets as well as perform exploratory data analysis to create new data processing pipelines
  • Implement data processing functionality and maintain the code base
  • Create, manage, and improve data processing infrastructure as well as deploy existing solutions

 

Required Skills and Experience 

  • Currently studying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, computer science, Software / Data Engineering, or in any field containing data management or analytics.
  • Familiarity with one or multiple data technologies and programming languages (e.g., Azure, Snowflake, DBT, Anaplan, RESTful API development, Python, SQL, and many more)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Analytical skills and the inner urge to figure things out
  • Adaptability and an openness to new and diverse challenges
