Business Data Solution Analyst – Intern 

 

As a Business Data Solutions Analyst at Lionpoint, you'll be at the forefront of shaping data-driven solutions with a focus on business impact. Collaborate with our seasoned team of data experts and architects, leveraging a blend of modern technologies and established systems. We're looking for someone with strong analytical skills, an aptitude for communication, and a passion for creating demonstrable value through data-driven solutions. 

 

Potential responsibilities 

• Evaluate existing data technology infrastructures, conceptualizing improvements aligned with business objectives
• Apply established data analysis methods to new data sets, driving insights for strategic decision-making
• Project management skills and experience in tools for project management and workflow optimization (e.g. Atlassian suite, Smartsheets, Salesforce)
• Building business case (e.g. cost/benefit analysis & risk assessments)
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions
• Contribute to the creation of marketing materials and write-ups showcasing the business value of data solutions for internal and external stakeholders

 

Required Skills and Experience 

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, economics, engineering, or a related field with a focus on data, analytics, and finance
• Strong interest in AI and experience in working on the edge of business and AI
• Familiarity with data technologies and an understanding of their business applications (e.g., Python, SQL / DBT, PowerBI, Canvas)
• Experience with project management and workflow optimization tools
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable business strategies
• Adaptability and an openness to new and diverse business challenges
