The role of Information Engineer II, Enterprise Systems Technology will be focused on supporting applications, developing automation workflows/scripts, and assisting with IT management of services and integrations. This role will report to the Sr. IT Manager to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure. The Engineer II, Enterprise Systems Technology will have the opportunity to become proficient in a range of IT and Information Security solutions. This role presents an exciting opportunity to have a positive impact on our Information Security program and help protect hundreds of end-users on a daily basis as we scale our organization. 

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain IT services and other InfoSec services.
  • Maintain technical documentation on system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Develop scripts, code, and automation tools using languages such as Python, BASH, or PowerShell to streamline IT and InfoSec management processes, automate routine tasks, and improve efficiency.
  • Implement monitoring scripts to proactively identify and resolve system issues.
  • Collaborate with the IT and Infosec team to develop and enhance scripts for system administration and integration purposes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand system requirements, identify and evaluate vendors and solutions, participate in technical implementations, and deliver customized business solutions.
  • Serve as a point of contact for escalated support requests
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Support IT security initiatives, including user access management, vulnerability assessments, and incident response.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security solutions and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate applications and services to remove duplication of tools, therefore contributing to operational efficiencies.
  • Seek opportunities to expand knowledge and skills in areas such as AWS services, security solutions, and IT administration.

Qualifications

  • Professional certifications, such as: A+, Okta Certified Professional, CISSP are a plus!
  • Fundamental knowledge of system integration techniques, IT automation, version control, data mapping, and API.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, experience with change management and process improvement.
  • Comfort working in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
