Working from nine cities globally, our 1500+ colleagues provide round-the-clock coverage to the world's top investment funds, consultancies and Fortune 500s. Learn more about us at alphasights.com.

Case Challenge

This case challenge is intended to provide a learning and skill-building experience and will encourage healthy competition. It will also provide you an opportunity to learn more about AlphaSights and potential career opportunities with our company.

Before the case challenge you will receive a sample project for which you will need to find relevant industry experts. Please share the experts in a PDF no longer than 1 page and using bullet points, explain why they would be a good fit for the client to speak with along with a few questions to ask the expert to ensure they are a good fit for the client. Be prepared to engage in a more detailed conversation with the judges about your rationale for picking these experts. At the end of the document, please include (1) please rank the order in which you think the clients should prioritize taking a call with the experts proposed based on the relevance of their work experience (2) where the experts fit in on the value chain.

In addition to presenting your experts, you will perform a mock phone call, role-playing as an Associate at AlphaSights speaking to the expert that you proposed. You will spend 10 minutes introducing yourself, AlphaSights, why you think this expert would be a good fit. Through questions, you will determine if their background and experience would be helpful to the clients. You must consider the timeframe the client has asked to get on the call with an expert, and how much you would compensate the expert to get them on the phone with your client.
