Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller, you will be in charge of
- preparing the Company's Financial reports,
- assisting in Compliance Audits,
- monitoring internal controls,
- managing Payroll and reviewing tax topics.
You will manage a team of 15 people, split into different departments (Administrative, Payroll, Invoicing, AP/GL)
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R and Revenue recognition, A/P, GL, from both a General and Analytical accounting point of view, for a multi-BU / multi subsidiaries environment
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings, with the support of an External Tax advisor
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Additional controller duties as necessary
Requirements and skills
- Proven working experience as a Financial Controller, with thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- 8+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience, having already managed large teams
- Advanced degree in Accounting, CPA or CMA preferred
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
- Extremely structured and organized
- Having worked into a multi–Business Units / multi Subsidiaries environment
- Financial Audit / Advisory experience preferred
