Description:
Role Summary:
Responsible of E-Basket commissioning and check before build of pre-series vehicle, analyze errors and introduce countermeasures to ensure buildability of the vehicles. Order parts from Logistic for E-Basket check, compare delivered parts with allowance matrix (VBV/DF) Update wrong SW if abele or escalate wrong delivered parts with Logistic, Quality or Development Document any E-Basket related buildability topics. Support Production in any EE related topic. After vehicle assembly complete support getting spare parts ordered in case any ECU brakes during Assembly Provide deviation papers when required. Work together with Development, Logistic, Production and Quality Assurance to ensure EE buildability. Support of the CFT E/E and other CFTs on demand.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform E-Basket test (wire harness connected to control units and required equipment)
- Ensure equipment is always up to date and calibrated. Generate E-Basket parts list out of BOM and ECU-Version lists (VBV and Data Freeze)
- Order Parts from Logistic
- Validate ECU data with requirements for the project, update software as required
- After test is complete commission wire harness and ECUs to vehicle assigned E-Basket
- Inform logistic that E-Basket is ready for Assembly
- Ensure timely commissioning of the vehicles and analysis in accordance to pre-series build schedule. Ensure high quality in each build stage and delivery of vehicle on time.
- Document the rework time in pre-series and make proposal how to reduce the time.
- Work in cross functional team workgroups for problem solving activities.
- Analyze measurement reports, drawings, technical descriptions and 3D models for any buildability issue.
- Document problems in KMP, Streifenliste or in similar tools. Distribute the report in relation to the project status.
- Perform part sample production trials to detect process defects or errors and to confirm product changes and quality improvements.
- Support vehicle commissioning if required
- Initiate product and process changes when required
Required:
- Bachelors in Electric/Electronic or proof of similar qualification
- Experience with vehicle electronic networks/systems (i.e. CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- Experience with vehicle functions and share network communication
- English language – written and verbal
Preferred:
- Good knowledge in German or Spanish
- 3+ years job related experience with automotive background
- Good understanding of change management and its implications
- Decision making and problem solving skills
