
Requirement Engineer - Access/Start

Key Responsibilities
- Define, document, and manage system and software requirements for Access/Start features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (systems, hardware, software, and validation) to ensure alignment and traceability.
- Work closely with feature owners, architects, and suppliers to clarify and refine requirements.
- Support change management and impact analysis for feature or system updates.
- Participate in reviews, issue tracking, and validation activities to ensure process compliance.
- Use tools such as IBM DOORS, Polarion, or similar RM tools to manage requirement baselines and traceability.
- Support functional safety (ISO 26262) and ASPICE process adherence where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Systems Engineering (or related field).
- 3–5 years of experience as a Requirements, Systems, or Feature Engineer in the automotive domain.
- Experience with Access/Start, Keyless Entry, or Body Control Module (BCM) systems.
- Proficiency in requirements management tools (IBM DOORS preferred).
- Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) or ASPICE processes is a plus.
