Quality Engineer - Remote

Overview
Responsible for helping ensure product quality, through the planning and execution of product testing, and/or process/product standards compliance. This person may have direct involvement in manual or automated test efforts or in developing and managing compliance to standards for process or product quality.
This is a remote role in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Create new manual and automated test cases or scripts, likely with guidance from more experienced Quality Engineers
- Produce or collect all required metrics, reports, and audits for relevant work products according to process
- Maintain test cases or scripts and seek to continuously improve product coverage
- Execute all assigned automated testing according to the schedule and productivity targets
- Escalate concerns about project/product/process quality in a clear, timely, collaborative, and constructive way
- Assist in root cause analysis and propose corrective actions
- Assist in improvement initiatives as requested
- Work independently with little oversight
- Set educational goals for personal development growth
- Implement methods to improve processes, product documentation and training documentation
Qualifications
Academic and Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- ISTQB, CSTE preferred.
Experience:
- 2-4 years relevant work experience.
- Basic SQL experience and usage of QE software tools and processes
- Ability to review systems and processes to develop continued improvements and efficiencies
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in test automation (Selenium, Appium WinAppdriver)
- Desirable
- Knowledge of healthcare IT
- Knowledge of Web API testing
- Knowledge of SpecFlow

- None to minimum travel may be required

Salary Range
$57,810 - $73,130 CAD
