About This Role
As a Community Relations Associate at Alumni Ventures (AV), you’ll be on the front lines of investor engagement—supporting and educating our vibrant community of accredited investors through proactive, high-touch communication. You’ll guide prospects and investors through their journey via email, webinars, phone, SMS, and other digital channels.
This early-career, high-autonomy role is ideal for a tech-savvy, AI-powered individual eager to grow in venture capital. You’ll work closely with Managing Partners, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure investors have the information and resources they need - freeing up investment professionals to focus on high-impact conversations.
Using AV’s structured playbooks and modern tools, you’ll help deliver a personalized, efficient experience across a growing portfolio of funds. This is a strategic, non-sales role focused on driving retention, education, and satisfaction. What You'll Do
- Community Support: Serve as a key point of contact for AV investors and prospects, primarily via email and digital channels, delivering clear and timely responses using pre-approved materials.
- Relationship Building: Nurture meaningful connections with community members by anticipating needs and proactively sharing relevant content.
- Event Execution: Collaborate with Partners to coordinate webinars and investor events—handling prep, communication, and follow-up.
- AI-Enabled Efficiency: Use AI tools to improve workflows, streamline information delivery, and drive scalable personalization in investor communication.
- Data & Insights: Track and report engagement metrics, surface trends, and share insights to help inform decision-making and improve community experience.
- Process Optimization: Contribute to continuous improvement of internal systems and support functions, identifying opportunities to increase clarity, speed, and effectiveness.
Who You Are
An ideal candidate is a client-centered professional with a flair for communication, ready to thrive in an email-centric role with a dynamic team environment.
- Client-Centered Communicator: 1–3 years in a B2C or financial services-facing role with strong writing and digital communication skills.
- AI-Curious & Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot), and enthusiastic about leveraging AI tools to increase productivity and personalization.
- Detail-Oriented & Organized: Excels at multitasking, task tracking, and maintaining quality across repeatable processes.
- Collaborative Problem Solver: Works well with cross-functional teams and thrives in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment.
Compensation on this role is $65,000 plus bonus, equity and benefits.
