- Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code for Kubernetes and AWS using Terraform, Helm, Kustomize, and other emerging tools.
- Contribute to and improve our CI/CD pipelines (Argo CD / Workflows / Rollouts, GitHub Actions).
- Instrument services with observability tooling (Datadog, Amplitude) and own monitoring dashboards.
- Participate fully in the on‑call rotation, driving incident resolution and root‑cause analysis.
- Proactively identify technical debt and propose pragmatic remediation plans.
- Collaborate with product engineers to understand their needs and translate them into platform features.
- Provide informal mentorship to Platform Engineer I team members and interns.
What We’re Looking For
- 3‑5 years of experience in software development, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering, including hands‑on work with cloud infrastructure.
- Production experience operating Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE, AKS, or on‑prem) and containerized applications.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Golang, Python preferred) and IaC tooling (Terraform).
- Working knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, EKS, IAM, VPC, ALB, S3) and networking/security fundamentals.
- Familiarity with GitOps workflows and CNCF ecosystem tools (Argo, Helm, Backstage, Envoy, etc.).
- Demonstrated success improving system reliability, performance, or developer productivity.
- Strong communication skills, ability to break down complex topics for diverse audiences, and a bias for collaborative problem solving.
