We seek a highly motivated Senior Information Technology Systems Engineer responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining information systems and the capabilities required to support the company’s enterprise infrastructure and future growth initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to fully own the Mac platform and experience Anaplan, a predominately Mac environment.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: owning the global MacOS fleet and its management, supporting and managing Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, public cloud infrastructure, SaaS business applications, identity in addition to integrations, and automation between various systems.  Also, you will move from remote to hybrid work schedule that includes two days/week in a NoVA office down the road.

Your Impact 

  • Build and own the Mac @ Anaplan program including all facets of enterprise Apple management leveraging JAMF.  
  • Assist in supporting our Microsoft 365 environment, Azure, AWS, and Active Directory. 
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of Microsoft 365 applications, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction. 
  • Assist in the design and management of Microsoft Intune for endpoint and mobile device management MDM/MAM, ensuring compliance with organizational policies. 
  • Work on the implementation and management of Autopilot deployments for streamlined provisioning and deployment of Windows devices. 
  • Automate and scale repetitive tasks to reduce the noise and friction for end users. 
  • Train and enable our End-User IT teams, so portions of program can be offloaded. 
  • Align systems to standards and contribute to roadmaps in support of the Information Technology vision and strategy. 
  • Identify gaps, recommend architecture/product changes to increase stability and reliability, and improve security, customer experience, and audit compliance. 
  • Develop requirements and assist in the vetting of new technology platforms that can be used within IT to solve business problems. 
  • Provide architectural, engineering, and operational support for other corporate IT systems. 
  • Create implementation guidelines, support documentation, and reusable design templates. 
  • Provide mentoring through example and knowledge sharing. 
  • Provide end-to-end ownership for systems within your Subject Matter Expertise areas. 
  • Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base. 

Your Experience 

  • Extensive experience with MacOS, JAMF, and scripting at an enterprise level 
  • Significant experience with cloud solutions in Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and GCP 
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune for endpoint and mobile device management MDM/MAM. 
  • Familiarity with Windows Autopilot and its deployment processes. 
  • Significant experience with Networking, monitoring tools, and cloud-based identity access management (IAM) services 
  • Project planning and management skills, including the ability to identify and assess risk 
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills 
  • A desire to work constructively in a geographically/time zone dispersed team environment 
  • Strong propensity to be driven by customer experience 
  • Strong orientation to be results and data-driven 
  • Amazing troubleshooting, problem-solving, and resolution skills 
  • 5+ years of experience managing corporate IT systems in a modern cloud-first environment 
  • BA or BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience 
  • Advanced Technical Certifications 
  • ITIL Foundation v3
