In the role of Senior Researcher, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our products by leading research initiatives that uncover deep insights into user needs and behaviours. You will have the unique opportunity to work at the intersection of user research and artificial intelligence, helping us build the next generation of intelligent planning for our users.

What you'll do
  • Lead and execute end-to-end projects across both Qualitative and Quantitive research, from initial planning and scoping to synthesis of findings and actionable recommendations, with close collaboration with product, design and engineering partners throughout.
  • Conduct specialised research focused on Anaplan's AI-driven products, evaluating their effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement, and exploring new opportunities for innovation.
  • Design and execute a range of research methods—including interviews, usability testing, surveys—while managing participant recruitment, logistics, and success metrics.
  • Synthesise data from multiple sources (user research, analytics, customer feedback) into clear, actionable insights that drive prioritisation and product outcomes.
  • Present research findings and insights to a variety of audiences, including executive leadership, to drive user-centered strategy.
  • Champion the application of AI-powered tools and methodologies within the research process to enhance efficiency and uncover deeper insights.
  • Lead on research practices, tools, and ways of working, while educating and supporting partners on when and how to apply research effectively.
What we're looking for
  • Proven experience in a senior research position, with a track record of leading high-impact research projects for both strategic and tactical product innovations.
  • Deep understanding of core research methods and experience conducting user research on complex products, including AI-powered products.
  • Strong ability to analyse and synthesise qualitative and quantitative data into clear insights that influence product direction.
  • Skilled communicator who can present insights in a clear, engaging, and persuasive way to drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience utilising AI-powered tools (e.g., automated analysis, sentiment analysis, predictive modelling) to enhance the research process.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with senior stakeholders and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Skilled communicator who can present insights in a clear, engaging, and persuasive way to drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
  • Experience in B2B or SaaS environments, particularly with complex, data-rich products.
  • Experience in strategic research for AI-powered products.
  • Familiarity with enterprise domains such as financial planning, forecasting, or decision-making tools.
  • Background in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field.
